On Friday, 9 March 2012 in the Lubomirski Palace in Warsaw the results of the competition Well-Perceived Company (Firma Dobrze Widziana) were announced. It is a nationwide competition organised by the Business Centre Club, using the EU funds. This is another edition of the project, the aim of which is to support implementation, in Polish companies, of management consistent with the standards of corporate social responsibility and to promote the companies that already run a socially responsible business.

On 7-8 March 2012 the President of the Management Board, Tadeusz Rybak participated in the 12th edition of the Polish Power and Heat Engineering Congress POWERPOL which was held in Kazimierz Dolny on Vistula river. The Congress was organised under patronage of the Ministry of Economy, the Minister of Environment Marcin Korolec, the President of the Energy Regulatory Office Marek Woszczyk and the Parliamentary Power Industry Committee.

At the end of February 2012 Mostostal Puławy began installation of a biomass boiler located in the city of Järvenpää near Helsinki in Finland. The scope of work includes installation of the pressure part, ducts, fittings, fans, low pressure piping and the flue gas purification and condensation system. Completion of the work is expected for December this year.

On Tuesday, the 6th of March 2012, President of the Mostostal Puławy, Mr. Tadeusz Rybak, and Director of the Steel Structure Factory, Mr. Paweł Iwaszko, participated in a seminar on safety and conformity assessment of steel structures in building. The meeting was organized by the Office of Technical Inspection UDT-CERT along with the Polish Chamber of Steel Structure. It was held in Warsaw, in the Centennial Hall of Polish Technical Supervision at Szczęśliwiecka 34 Street.

Between the 2nd and the 3rd of March 2012, the fifth edition of Pulavian Blues Festival took place. That time, Puławy were visited by known and popular musicians. The star of this year’s Festival was Gienek Loska, the winner of the first edition of X-Factor. After his concert, there was held a night jam session in the SMOK Club, with the participation of Krissy Matthews’ band. On the second day of the festival, there was another dose of blues music. The Concert of Wielka Łódź was preceded by a support of Pulavian band called Zły Sen. We could also enjoy the concert of a well-known band - Boogie Boys. This year, Mostostal Puławy joined a group of sponsors of this event.
