On November 18 th, 2008 Mostostal Pulawy SA signed the contract with Alstrom Power Sweden AB for manufacturing and delivery of steel construction, bag filter and exhaust gases channels for exhaust gases cleaning installation to Kristiansand, Norway. Total weight of the investment is 768,5 tonnes.
The realization period for deliveries is scheduled for March – July 2009.

On November 17 th, 2008 Mostostal Pulawy SA has started the assembly of boiler with weight of 1515 tonnes for German company AE&E Inova GmbH in Mannheim, Germany. The investment is realized by 60 employers. The assembly works will last till the end of August 2009.

On the 23rd of October 2008, Marriot Hotel in Warsaw hosted The IV Congress of Polish Exporters joined with The Final Gala of a competition for The Prominent Exporter of the Year. The prizes for the best polish exporters were presented during this ceremony. Both Gala and Congress were held by The Association of Polish Exporters under the honour patronage of Vice-Prime Minister and the Minister of Economy Mr. Waldemar Pawlak and the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Mr. Marek Sawicki.

Roofed cycling track BGŻ Arena in Pruszkow realized by Mostostal Pulawy S.A. – the General Contractor of the object, was honoured by Polish Chamber of Steelworks (PIKS) with the title of Steel Construction- Realization of the Year 2008. This title confirms high quality of performed works, interesting and modern architecture and unquestionable esthetic assets of the building, that aspires to be one of the world‘s most beautiful in its category. The achieved title is the more valuable for us with regard to the fact that the winner was chosen by the members of Polish Chamber of Steelworks, the specialists in the steel construction field.

On October 13th, 2008 the President of Mostostal Pulawy S.A.- Mr. Tadeusz Rybak – received the auctioned Cup of Tour de Pologne, the trophy for the winner of stage IV, from Marshal of Lublin- Mr. Adam Wasilewski. The stage, as we know, had been boycotted by the riders and the cups were not given to the winners but were auctioned instead of it.
