On 29 August 2011 Mostostal Puławy S.A. started installation of a steam boiler equipped with a grate furnace fired with wood (OSr-32 type) in the city of Goch in Germany. The scope of works covers installation of the boiler and piping within the boiler building. The principal of the task is Rafako. The approximate total weight of the entire scope of works is 382 t. The water test is expected to be performed on 12 December 2011. The installation completion date is 15 January 2012.

On 27 August 2011 (Saturday) the Puławy Feast under the slogan “Farewell to Summer” was held. Reach programme of this year’s event, with a modified formula, consisted of shows for children, performances of singers, dancing groups, culinary contests for children, youth and restaurateurs of Puławy, as well as cooking demonstration by Jerzy Pasikowski.

On 23 August 2011 Mostostal Puławy took part in the training course titled “Creation of the corporate image as an element of strategic competitive advantage” organised by the Regional Chamber of Commerce. This training course enabled the employees to learn about new techniques and tools being helpful when creating a coherent, consistent and unambiguous image of the company in communication as well as when defending it in a crisis situation. The participant gained practical abilities being useful when creating and distributing it.

2 of 3 stages of incremental launching of the steel structure of the Main Bridge was carried out at the construction site of the ring road of the city of Przemyśl connecting the national road No. 77 with the national road No. 28 on 19 August 2011. The incremental launching operation lasted several hours.

At the beginning of August 2011 Mostostal Puławy begun the assembling of power boiler with fluidized bed in a thermal power plant in Örebro in Sweden. The scope of work includes: completemechanical assembly of the boiler (pressure part, exhaustductsand air, external piping and other equipment).
