From Thursday, April 14th 2011 to Sunday, April 17th 2011 was held the XXVI National Trail Race Cycling Tour Amber Hellena 2011. The race was attended by over 120 cyclists from the Polish, Czech Republic and Germany. Cyclists have ridden about 500 km and they fought for the top places.

An official opening of the 2011 racing season took place in Sobótka on Sunday, April 3rd 2011. The best Polish cyclists were competing on the course around Sobótka. Leading professional groups from both Poland and abroad showed up. The race was held on the circular course: Sobótka-Strzegomiany-Będkowice-Księgienice-Świątniki-Nasławice-Sobótka. The start and finish were located at St. Anne’s Street (by the stadium)Races were held in all age groups for both women and men.

The forum "Energy Forum 2011 – Renewable Energy Sources – New Development Prospects for the Lublin Region" was opened at the "Europe" Hotel in Lublin on March 23rd, at 10 a.m. It was organised by the Lublin Business Club. The forum was devoted to the discussion of development opportunities for the sector of renewable energy sources in the Lublin region.

On March 15th, the ceremony of awarding the "Business Gazelles 2010" was held at the Musical Theatre in Lublin. The "Business Gazelle 2010" title can be awarded to firms that were launched before 2007 and have continued their operations until today, generated sales in the range from PLN 3 to 200 million in 2007, recorded an increase in sales year after year during the period 2007-2009 and did not post a loss over this period. The company Mostostal Puławy S.A. was again included in the ranking of the most dynamically developing firms and was awarded the prestigious title of "Business Gazelle 2010" in this year’s 11th edition of this ranking.

On 28.02.2011 Mostostal Puławy S.A. signed an agreement with Zakłady Chemiczne Police S.A. for construction of an iron sulphate neutralisation installation.
