In September this year, Mostostal Puławy signed a contract with PKN ORLEN for a turnkey pilot installation for testing hydrogenation catalysts, i.e. substances accelerating chemical reactions using hydrogen for the needs of the PTA production plant in Włocławek.

In the autumn of this year, we completed the third - the last stage of construction works for electrostatic precipitator No. 3 as part of the contract obtained two years earlier for the modernization of three electrostatic precipitators of 250 MWe power units No. 1 - 3 at Turów Power Plant in Bogatynia.

The contract included the production and assembly of approximately 520 tonnes of steel structure and equipment for the exhaust gas purification system together with thermal insulation. In addition, Mostostal Puławy has obtained an order for the assembly of pipelines on this installation. The works started in September 2018 and ended in August 2019.

This year, Mostostal Puławy S.A. has completed works carried out for Zakłady Azotowe Puławy S.A. for the design, delivery and assembly of 1 piece of liquid carbon dioxide tank with a capacity of 1,100 m3. The tank weight alone is about 164,000 kg. As part of this task, Mostostal Puławy also delivered and installed approx. 30,000 kg carbon and alloy steel pipelines.

Work began in May 2019 and will last until the end of this year. This contract is demanding due to the much small amount of space at the construction site and the need to meet many requirements of Swiss law (Switzerland is not a member of the European Union).
