The Polityka “CSR White Leaf” is given to companies declaring implementation of the most important management categories recommended by the ISO 26000 standard (e.g. labour practices including a formalises employee evaluation system, environmental impact management system, social involvement and development of the local community) and continuing to improve their activity for purposes including effective management of the company’s impact on its surroundings.
The official gala hosted by POLITYKA saw 9 companies receive the POLITYKA CSR Golden Leaf, 21 companies receive the Silver Leaf, and 36 companies receive the White Leaf. “This is a very special day for companies who want to and can act responsibly,” POLITYKA’s editor-in-chief Jerzy Baczyński said during the ceremony and noted the importance of honest communication in contemporary reality where every smartphone owner becomes a source of more or less credible information. The guests – over one hundred representatives of companies, which filled out the poll and entered our ranking, also had the opportunity to listen to publicist Edwin Bendyk’s speech about the impact of modern technology on the lives of individual human beings and entire economies and states.
The culmination of the event saw presentation of the POLITYKA CSR Leaf diplomas. The victors posed for photos.
