Within 12-13 May 2012 the first round of the Europe Cup in Cross Country and also Poland Championship and Poland Cup took place. The competition was held in an unusual place, on the mine waste dump where is a track from 7 to 9 km long with many drives and arduous uphill roads.
Many competitors from throughout Europe registered for these competition, the Italian competitions have been started for the first time in a history. This route is distinguished among others in Poland, there were many interesting uphill roads, quick arches, and the high speed could be achieved. The patronage of honour over this event was taken up by the Marshal of the Lubelskie Voivodeship Krzysztof Hetman, the President of the Lublin City Krzysztof Żuk and the President of Lubelski Węgiel “Bogdanka S.A. Mirosław Taras. Mostostal Puławy S.A. was one of the sponsors of this event.
