On 1 October 2011 a bicycle race was started for all the categories: młodzik, junior młodszy, junior, elita, women. The cyclists of the Elita category had to go 128 km. (4 laps of 32 kilometres each). After many attempts of attacks a group of three leaders consisting of Piotr Kirpsza from Mostostal Puławy, Paweł Cieślik from Bank BGŻ Team and Robert Radosz from BDC Team was formed.
20 km before the finish line the breakaway group’s lead was only 50 seconds. It might appear that the peloton would eliminate the attack, however, the concerted efforts of the racers allowed to maintain a slight lead. The best cyclist at the finish line was young Kirpsza from Mostostal Puławy.
