On 2 September 2011 the President of the Management Board Tadeusz Rybak participated in the conference titled “Prawdziwa Europa Regionów a rozwój Polski Wschodniej” [the Real Europe of Regions and development of Eastern Europe], which was held in Białystok. Honorary patronage over the conference was taken by Bronisław Komorowski, the President of the Republic of Poland. The event was graced by the presence of Prof. Jerzy Buzek, the President of the European Parliament.
The purpose of the conference-debate was to look for a new model of cooperation between the provinces of Eastern Poland, to use more effectively the present and future developmental possibilities of the region.
