On Monday, 30 May 2011 there was a ceremony of signing the foundation act and laying the foundation stone at the site of the construction of the Sports-and-Entertainment Arena (Czyżyny) in Kraków. The general contractor is a consortium of companies, consisting of Mostostal Warszawa S.A. (leader of the consortium), Mostostal Puławy S.A., Acciona Infraestructuras S.A. Avenida de Europa and Asseco Systems S.A.
The contract value is about 363 m zlotys gross. The completion term is 21 April to 18 October 2013. The scope of duties of Mostostal Puławy S.A. is to prepare a workshop design for all the steel structures (ca 2300 T) as well as their fabrication, delivery and installation.
