As the General Contractor, Mostostal Puławy company will build the Research Centre On Supercritical Extraction of plant raw materials using CO2. Mostostal Puławy company made a deal with the Institute of Fertilizers on 28th May 2010, and since then the Institute is the employer of this investment.
The scope of work includes:
- Execution of building works of following trades:
- constructional with the area and roads development
- installation
- automation and measurements
- electric and telecommunication
- delivery and development of materials and machines necessary to execute building works, except those delivered by the Buyer
- development and connection of devices and machines delivered by the Buyer
- execution of mechanical start-up
This newly built Centre will constitute the base for research on supercritical extraction processes of plant raw materials. This technology is considered as "green-chemistry". It is environmental friendly, waste-free and it produces ecological products. This innovative supercritical extraction technology is currently used in several countries in the world: Germany, Great Britain, the United States of America, Finland, China and India. Regarding the middle-east Europe, is it used for hop extraction exclusively in the Institute .
The project is partially funded by the European Fund of Regional Development in the scope of the Operational Program of the Eastern Poland’s Development 2007-2013.
