Mostostal Puławy S.A. has been awarded a certificate from among Polish companies and was honored with the title of The Pearl of The Polish Economy in category of The Big Pearls of The Polish Economy in recognition of consistent realization of Mostostal’s strategy and policy.
Institute of Economics Polish Academy of Sciences together with the publishing house “Polish Market” Sp. z o.o. that publishes a monthly English-speaking magazine “Polish Market” prepare a ranking of Polish companies “Pearls of Polish Economy” for the eight time. The set includes companies whose revenue from all business activities during the year amounted to at least 100 million zlotys (Large Pearls) or 1 billion zlotys (Grand Pearls).
However, these are companies which meet in advance given the minimum value of the following criteria adopted by the Institute of Economics of the Polish Academy of Sciences:
- income dynamics,
- sales profitability,
- debt,
- the rate of return on gross assets,
- net rate of return on equity,
- labor productivity.
Pearls have been presented at the Gala, which took place on 19th November 2010 in the Royal Castle in Warsaw. Honorary patronage over the ranking took the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, Waldemar Pawlak and President of the Polish Academy of Sciences, prof. Michał Kleiber.
