On August 6th, 2007 Mostostal Pulawy S.A. made a contract with DROMO Sp. z o.o. on delivery, assembly and anticorrosive protection (2430qm) of steel structure (240 T) of a bridge over the River Pisa in Pisz, Poland. Works has been started in September 2007 and should be ended till September 30th, 2008.
The bridge will be 100m long and would be carried out in a VFT technology. The VFT technology consist on prefabrication, out of the building site, of steel beams joined with an active concrete boarding, that helps to reduce the costs of building site and to shorten the realization span.
Investor: General Management of Domestic Roads and Speedways, Dep. in Olsztyn, Poland.
Total gross value of the contract: about PLN 3.15 Mio.
It is the second contract made with DROMO Sp. z o.o., similar contract for this client is being carried out in Barczewo, over the River Pisa as well.
